Elena Dementieva: 2010 Sydney Champion!

Elena has successfully defended a title for the first time in her career as she won her first title of 2010 at the Medibank International in Sydney. Elena defeated #1 seed Serena Williams of the United States 6-3 6-2 to win her 15th career title.
Elena put on a strong performance against the world #1 for her 3rd straight top 10 win. Everything was working for Elena and a performance like this this can only give her confidence for the Australian Open.
